PROMAX quill stem in black for precise fit
The PROMAX quill stem in black enables flexible adjustment of handlebar height and angle for a tailored riding position. It fits a 25.4 mm handlebar clamp and a 1" (22.2 mm) steerer, and can be used with 1 1/8" (25.4 mm) forks via a suitable shim.
With a 300 mm quill length, 85 mm extension, and an adjustable 0–50° angle, this adjustable stem offers a wide setup range for city bikes, trekking bikes, and classic builds. The quill tube is stainless Nirosta steel, while the head is aluminum for a solid strength-to-weight balance. Delivered in black, no extra parts included.

Intended use: Adjustable quill stem for compatible bicycles with a 25.4 mm handlebar clamp. Designed for 1-inch fork steerers with a 22.2 mm quill diameter and, when used with a suitable reducing sleeve, also for compatible 1 1/8-inch systems. Suitable for city, trekking and retro bicycles with compatible components.
Installation / use: Install the stem correctly in the fork steerer and observe the specified minimum insertion depth. When using a reducing sleeve, use only a suitable sleeve and install it correctly. Tighten the handlebar clamp, stem fixing and angle adjustment to the specified torques. After every adjustment of the angle or handlebar height, recheck all connections for secure fastening. Before every ride, inspect the stem, handlebar, fork steerer, adjustment joint and fasteners for play, cracks, deformation or looseness.
Care and cleaning: Clean the stem regularly with water and a soft cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents. Regularly inspect the stainless-steel shaft, clamping surfaces, adjustment joint and bolts for corrosion, wear and secure fastening.
Replacement due to wear: Replace the stem immediately if cracks, deformation, damaged clamping surfaces, excessive play in the adjustment mechanism, damaged threads or other safety-related defects are found. A damaged or incorrectly secured stem may cause loss of control and serious injury.
