Which BMX size is right for me?
The right BMX size is essential for safety, control, and most importantly, fun. At KHEbikes, you'll find the right wheel size for every age and height:
- 12 inch – from approx. 2'7" (80 cm) tall (approx. ages 2–5)
- 14 inch – from approx. 3'1" (95 cm) (approx. ages 4–6)
- 16 inch – from approx. 3'7" (110 cm) (approx. ages 5–8)
- 18 inch – from approx. 4'1" (125 cm) (approx. ages 7–11)
- 20 inch – from approx. 4'7" (140 cm) (from age 10, teens & adults)
We also offer different top tube lengths for our 20-inch bikes – from 19.5", 20", 20.6", 21" to 21.25".
Shorter top tubes make the bike more agile and are great for smaller or trick-focused riders. Longer top tubes offer more stability and space – ideal for taller riders or big jumps. You’ll find exact size recommendations on each product page.

2. KHE Expert Line
The perfect choice for advanced riders. Featuring HiTen steel frames, smart geometry, and durable components, these bikes are made for progression – whether you’re riding park, street or flatland.
3. KHE PRO Line
For riders who want no compromises. These models come with Freecoasters, CNC-machined parts, 3D dropouts and high-end components. These bikes offer maximum performance for serious tricks and heavy use – made for real BMX action.
4. Flatland BMX
BMX meets art: Our flatland models like the KHE Stylus or KHE Tricky are designed for creative tricks on flat ground. Short geometry, maximum control – perfect for balance, precision and flow. KHEbikes back to the roots!
5. Limited Edition BMX
Exclusive bikes “Made in Germany”, limited in quantity, uncompromising in quality. Premium components and unique design make these models collector’s items – and extremely durable performance machines.
Which BMX discipline suits you?
- Park: For ramps, halfpipes, and skateparks – lightweight setup, high jumps.
- Street: For urban riding – rugged, often with pegs for grinds on rails and curbs.

Which BMX is good for beginners?

How much does a good BMX cost?
Our entry-level bikes start from around €249, mid-range models from €349, and our PRO bikes – depending on specs – go up to €1,049.
Which is better: aluminium or steel?
Aluminium is lighter and easier to control – ideal for beginners. HiTen and CrMo steel are stronger and more common in pro models.
BMX for kids – from what age?
BMX is suitable from as early as 2 years old – depending on height. Our 12-inch models are ideal from 80 cm (2'7"). From around 4–6 years, a 14-inch BMX is usually a good fit.
What is an AFFIX rotor?
The AFFIX rotor is an internal 360° rotor system that lets you spin your handlebars completely – without tangled cables. Perfect for park or flatland.
What’s the difference between tyres?
Our entry-level bikes usually come with premium Kenda tyres – durable and grippy. In the Expert and Pro classes, we often use KHE ACME tyres, made for freestyle riding. Our top models like the Strikedown or SPECTER are equipped with ultra-light KHE MAC tyres – which can also be retrofitted to other 20-inch bikes if needed.
