Installation / use: Install the cable holder correctly and securely tighten the clamping bolt. Ensure that the brake cable is routed correctly and securely clamped without being damaged, kinked or crushed. Check the brake for correct operation after installation. Before every ride, inspect the cable holder, clamping bolt, brake cable and braking system for secure fit, damage and correct function.
Care and cleaning: Clean the cable holder regularly with water and a soft cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents. Regularly inspect the cable holder, clamping bolt and contact points for wear, corrosion, loosening or damage.
Replacement due to wear: Replace the cable holder immediately if cracks, deformation, damaged threads, a damaged clamping bolt or insufficient clamping force are detected. Damaged or incorrectly installed brake components may impair braking performance and result in loss of control or injury.
