It is designed to securely connect the handlebar to the fork steerer on compatible Ahead systems with a 1 1/8" steerer and a 31,8 mm handlebar clamp. The component is designed for MTB, downhill and trail use. Use is only intended for compatible bicycle components. Use on other vehicles or for other purposes is not permitted.
Usage / installation instructions: Installation must be carried out correctly. Before installation, check that the fork steerer, handlebar and stem are compatible. The stem must be correctly mounted on the fork steerer and the bolts must be tightened evenly using suitable tools. The 4-bolt handlebar clamp must be tightened evenly to ensure a secure fit. Before every ride, check that the stem is securely mounted and that all bolts are properly tightened. Incorrect installation may cause instability and lead to accidents.
Care and cleaning: Use only water and a mild cleaning agent for cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaners, solvents or high-pressure cleaners, as these may damage the material.
Replacement in case of wear: Regularly inspect the stem for cracks, deformation or other damage. Pay special attention to the clamping areas and bolt sections. If visible damage or material fatigue occurs, the component must no longer be used and must be replaced.
