Intended use: BMX handlebar made from 4130 CrMo steel for compatible BMX bicycles used for Street, Park and Dirt riding. The handlebar has a rise of 9 inches (228.6 mm), a width of 740 mm, 11° backsweep, 2° upsweep and a clamp diameter of 22.2 mm. The set includes KHE Pyramid flanged grips and matching bar ends. Before installation, ensure that the handlebar, stem, grips and brake components are compatible.
Installation / use: Install the handlebar centrally and correctly aligned in a suitable stem with a 22.2 mm clamp diameter. Tighten the stem bolts evenly to the specified torque. Ensure that the handlebar is securely fixed and cannot rotate under load. Fully install the KHE Pyramid grips and securely insert the bar ends. Never ride with open handlebar ends. Before every ride, check that the handlebar, stem, grips and bar ends are securely fitted and that the brakes function correctly. Carefully inspect all components after crashes or hard landings.
Care and cleaning: Regularly clean the handlebar with a soft cloth and mild cleaning agent. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasive cleaners to avoid damaging the Oil Slick finish. Inspect the handlebar, particularly around the clamping area, welds and bends, for cracks, deformation and corrosion. Check the grips for secure attachment, wear and damage.
Replacement due to wear: Replace the handlebar immediately if cracks, deformation, deep scratches causing material damage, corrosion or other safety-related defects are detected. Replace damaged or loose grips and bar ends as well. Never attempt to straighten or reuse a bent handlebar. A damaged or incorrectly installed handlebar may break or rotate, resulting in loss of control and serious injury.
